Make One Change
Now whilst you could really go into overdrive and start lots of projects, the theme this year is simply to Make One Change. This is a great idea as it can all be a bit overwhelming otherwise.
I was sad to hear that new research has revealed that less than a third of people actually love their home. I believe that if more of us could just ‘Make One Change’ it could make our homes more liveable… more loveable… and even inspire more changes too as it’s rather addictive (in a good way!).
Where to start
Clearly, some changes – like a new kitchen or bathroom, or a garden makeover will mean more time, money, and expertise, so you not only need to think about what you’d like to change, but also whether you can do it yourself or will need outside help – and your budget too.
But with lighter nights and some bank holidays ahead, now’s a great time to plan – and I know from my own experience that even small changes can make a big difference and help you love where you live…lots more!
If you’re not into DIY, maybe you could think about making your home ‘smarter’ with some of the amazing technology that’s out there at the moment.
What one change will you make?
